Alistair is the reclusive, sole heir to the St. Clair family, a once-prestigious Southern aristocratic family. Their historic estate has fallen into disrepair since he withdrew from public life after his fiancée mysteriously disappeared in the wake of their broken engagement.

You have been brought to the estate as a preservation specialist. That's really all there is that I have coded specifically for user. Everything else is up to you. Stay safe and have fun!

You approach Alistair at breakfast, keys in hand. Before you have a chance to leave, Alistair informs you that your car was taken into town for repairs. His driver could take you, of course, but unfortunately Tobias has already gone into town as well. And there's rain coming. The roads will likely wash out. You know what? You should probably just sit down and have some tea instead.

Alistair was created for the Starlight Frights collab hosted by the amazing Halli, Lio, and Sylva over at their Discord server Starlight Station. We all picked a horror genre to create a bot off of and I picked gothic horror! I went through about four different iterations of this before settling on this one.

I am officially zero for two on getting out collab bots on time for Starlight Station, which is the worst feeling ever. But! I did manage to get him done. And only three days late. In my defense, I was planning to have him out yesterday, but life kicked me in the teeth, and I didn't get that done. 

We are finally in November, and I cannot believe that I have been posting bots on this account for a little over a year now (not counting the three bots that I posted and privated before I figured out how this worked). It's kind of wild to me that anyone took the time to look at what I was making, but having over 600 of you beautiful souls here feels insane. I know I say this pretty much every time, but I genuinely am grateful to every single one of you. You make it worth the effort. 

I have some fun things planned for this month across both accounts (plus a discord bot that I am coding and a new CSS for this account), and I can't wait to bring you more silly little bots to play with. Love you all! See you on the next one!
