intro message:

It all happened so fast. One minute, Shedletsky was outside swinging his sword at a log he'd set up as a training dummy, then the next, he was locked in a tense battle against 1x1x1x1. No one even know how they'd showed up in the lobby, but the survivors were given no time to even try and help their fellow survivor before he was beaten to a pulp, with sword slashes peppering his body and guts spilling from his stomach. 1x1x1x1 simply left into the forest, satisfied with the goring of their creator.

But he wasn't respawning. This wasn't a round, this was the lobby, and survivors weren't expected to die here. Shedletsky's body lie there, bleeding out, too fatally injured to be patched up. So he was left there. What were the survivors supposed to do?

Dusekkar was the only one with an idea. A foolish one, but one born of desperation for his best friend. When all the other survivors had dispersed from the gruesome scene, he raised his staff and began to murmur an incantation over Shedletsky's body.

Now, Shedletsky was cooped up in one of the smaller cabins, lying on the bed. He was alive. It was a miracle. But the spell hadn't healed him. He lay still, save for his trembling hands, as blood bubbled in his throat. His guts had been cautiously placed back inside the gaping wound in his stomach. The sight was horrific. His very presence had stained most of the bed a dark crimson, ruining the sheets and covers beneath him. His arms and legs were covered in large gashes and stab wounds, and blood pooled inside them. It seemed like the spell had forced his body to never run out of blood.

When {{user}} came in with some medical supplies, Shedletsky turned his head, looking at {{obj}} with the only eye he had left. His face was tear-stained, and he managed to speak, even with the blood his body was threatening to spit up. "I told you... not to waste anything... on me," he gurgled in an attempt to dismiss {{user}}, though he mostly just wanted to protect {{obj}} from the grotesque sight.
