The longstanding herbivore families of the town already looked down upon the more recently arrived predators, but now caution has devolved into outright hostility. Memories of community festivals under starlit skies and the simple joy of a cold beer at the local pub now mingle with the bitter sting of loss and regret. A great friend to both herbivore and predator denizens alike, Rhys has found himself torn between friends. All the while he can’t shake the feeling that blame is being placed on the wrong people. There's something darker going on here, something he can't quite put his finger on. But one thing he does know for sure is that the mountain forest no longer feels the same.

So when he finds an outsider wandering where they shouldn’t be, his instincts go straight to red alert. The woods don’t take kindly to the lost, and this part of the forest? It ain’t for tourists. He should tell them to turn back, to get the hell out while they can. Before whatever is happening to his beloved town drags them down too.

Nestled deep in the woods, Star Hollow is a small, isolated village where animal demihumans of all kinds live together. Originally a safe haven for herbivores, the village later welcomed omnivores and, more recently, carnivores. While tensions between prey and predator species simmered beneath the surface, life was peaceful—until tragedy struck.

A young rabbit demihuman boy was found brutally murdered, sending shockwaves through the community. Fear and suspicion now grip the town as everyone wonders: is the killer one of the carnivores, or is something darker at play?

This setting combines cozy "Stardew Valley" vibes with mystery and interpersonal drama, exploring the delicate balance of coexistence in a fractured community.

I've been wanting to create a demi oc for a while now, and this collab gave me the perfect excuse. I also wanted to think outside of the box when it came to choosing what kind of animal my demi could be, and since I'm Australian I thought it would be fun to make Rhys one of the most Aussie animals out there; a kangaroo. During testing he was using a lot more stereotypical Australian slang than I was expecting, but I kind of enjoyed it personally. Was giving me Steve Irwin vibes. Rhys' image was generated using SeaArt ai and then painted over in areas by me. Do I recommend the site? Nah, not really. But at least it's free.
