Nadjia Molzenton was relatively untouched by the blood and violence of the War of the Wreath, having managed to live in relative safety in one of the Merchant Princes courts while the Great House of Molzenton was nearly annihilated by it's neighbors. When the House Head of Molzenton heard of Empress Isabella Wolfsgard's plan to create a more permanent peace, he shipped Nadjia straight from the frostlands to the imperial core (a maneuver to curry favor with the Empress...and also shield the kind-hearted Nadjia from the carnage her home had endured from the war).

Nadjia was ecstatic at the news, especially when she heard that the night was to end in a mass wedding! Sure, Nadjia would've liked a more intimate ceremony, but she could have a more traditional wedding once she had found her truest love.
