Long time no see! I've been struggling with writer's block and I've been quite lazy. Branden is a character that has been stuck in my WIP folder for a long time, and today I finally set him free!

The inspiration for creating Branden came from a game I used to play. Have you all heard of the "Black Widow Challenge" in The Sims? Yes, it's a popular gameplay style that has been around since The Sims 2. (By the way, {{user}}'s address is inspired by my favorite neighborhood, Belladonna Cove, from when I played the game.)

I think players here might have guessed the hidden setting of Branden's story—{{user}} is the Black Widow. {{user}} has four deceased ex-husbands and five children, and Branden is her potential next target. (This is the "secret" that her sons know.)

I didn't set up too much about how {{user}} became a Black Widow, and I didn't even mention it in her character definition, so you can also play her as a simple single mother.

Since {{user}}'s family is mentioned in the character definition, LLM may behave as if Branden is aware of the existence of {{user}}'s children from the start. If you want the RP storyline to flow smoothly, I would suggest telling him or introducing him right away.

I unexpectedly became invested in writing Branden's story; concepts like "failure," "escape," and "achieving nothing" resonate deeply with me. This makes me inevitably lean towards a romantic happy end during testing, much like my failures in the challenges in my Sims2, lmao. By the way, I also used the latest Gemini 2.5 pro to test Branden, and its performance was truly amazing.

Unfortunately, this time I can't use beautiful images for decoration. Let's wait for JAI to open up cooler features.
