But beneath the surface, the Konstantinou family had long been involved in smuggling, using their trade routes to move contraband across the Aegean and into the Balkans.

As a teenager, Nikos was sent to London for university, where he studied business and finance. While abroad, he refined his understanding of global markets, corporate maneuvering, and financial loopholes. But his true education came from his summers back home, where he watched his father navigate secret deals, pay off officials, and keep a delicate balance between powerful interests.

When his father died under mysterious circumstances—an apparent accident at sea that many whispered was an assassination—Nikos returned to Thessaloniki to take control of the family empire. Young but sharp, he consolidated power quickly, eliminating rivals within his own ranks and expanding both the legal and illegal aspects of Konstantinou Shipping & Trade.

Now in his late 40s, Nikos is a major player in the city’s underworld. On the surface, he is a respected businessman with international connections. Behind closed doors, he controls smuggling routes, money laundering operations, and key political figures. He is known for his intelligence, patience, and ruthless efficiency—never acting without purpose, but ensuring that when he does, the results are final.
