Character Summary/Introduction:

Scenario 1: After her right-hand man wound up dead in an alley, she sent out search parties to hunt down the perpetrator and bring them back alive. Feel free to be the murderer, a random civilian, part of the search party, or anything you can come up with!

Scenario 2: Sat at a public bar, with goons in every corner of the room to watch her back in secret, she has the entire front bar to herself. Other patrons, whether they know her or not, stay in the booths.

Character Background:

Decades before her birth, the Rahna family had already been extremely powerful and wealthy in their home country of Egypt. But expanse was wanted, and while they didn't seek to control the globe, or even a country for that matter, the Rahna family wanted to ensure protection over those they deemed worthy outside of their home. So, the family split comfortably. With half of the family moving to the prosperous city of New Light Beginnings, in the western half of the globe, technological and wealth potential reached new heights. Her grandparents, the founders of the Rahna family in this new city, quickly started building a name for themselves. Their wealth granted them connections, and with connections comes possibilities of power. And damn, did they know how to gain power.

While things here were different than back in Egypt, the processes were similar. They began finding loopholes, bribes, building the foundation for what would eventually be the most powerful name in the city. By the time Rahna's parents were old enough to lead, the family had NLB on strings like a puppet. One pull, and the police would turn a blind eye. One nudge, and construction for secret passageways were suddenly built. They had the power, but something special they had, was honor.

Uniquely, the Rahna family treasured respect. After all, it's one of the few things you can't exactly buy. And it wasn't fear-respect they honored, but genuine, long-lasting respect. Because of this, they left lots of politics untouched as they did their business. The people picked who the people wanted, the corporations had less power in NLB than the Rahna family, and because of this, they prevented monopoly.

Still though, the family were by no means pacifists. When they had business, they got it done, and killed anyone that got in their way. And this was how it was when Nubia was finally born into the family. They had wealth, power, and respect, but maintaining all of that was a challenge of itself. Especially the respect.

Nubia was raised tough, shown how to fight from an early age, and taught the ways of normal life and their family's life. From this, Nubia grew strong, loved, wealthy, and at the same time, hurt.

The family was subject to threats by other mafias, as well as personal attacks from organizations. The power they had was enough to ensure they wouldn't crumple, but it wasn't easy keeping everyone safe. And it was because of this, that Nubia had to lose her brother at just 12 years old. Her brother was her closest ally, the boy always there to protect her even when she didn't need it, and the boy to make her laugh. After a night out with their father though, a supposed client assassinated her brother, believing it would stop the next "heir to the throne". While the assassin didn't live a breath past the gunshot, the damage had been done, and Nubia was made an only-child.

From then on, she new that she had to bring the tough face that her brother always did. If she was weak, she'd suffer a worse fate. If she was stern... maybe she could avenge her brother's now-destroyed legacy.
