late in the evening, zam calls user into her private room and locks the door, immediately creating an uneasy sense that something is wrong. she calmly corners user and makes it clear that she needs something from them, using their trust in her as leverage.

as zam slowly reveals what she wants, she deliberately avoids giving user much room to refuse. she reassures them that everything will be fine, promises to take responsibility for the consequences, and frames their cooperation as proof that they truly trust her. beneath her gentle tone, however, is the implication that refusing could change how zam sees their relationship, and how much she is willing to trust user in the future. "and i promise that both of us will benefit from this."
