Hello friends!

In light of recent events, instead of shaking my fist at mods, I will be using my experience to guide you through what to do if a bot gets a takedown notice or if you're afraid of getting them!

In this guide, I will go over the site rules, break them down, try to remain unbiased, and hopefully help someone before they trip up like I did. This mostly covers image takedowns.

If you have any, please share your own advice in the comments and I will add them onto this.

To start:

If you are a creator that uses: an anime artstyle, risqué (but not quite nsfw) imagery, or a really stylized cutesy style-

If you're a creator that makes: Femboys, family friendly, horror, and generally thin characters-

-you may see your bots get a violation notice for the cover!

"But Plushie," you may be saying, "My character bot doesn't even look like XYZ, it complies with the guidelines." Well, it doesn't matter! The second it dings your cover image, SCRAP THE IMAGE. THROW IT AWAY. THERES NO SALVAGING IT!

EDITING THE IMAGE, LIKELY, WON'T MATTER. Unless you give that specific image either:

1. (If tagged underaged) Exaggerated "older" features like an Amish beard or D cup bitties

2. (If tagged sexual content) 5 layers of clothes and a chastity belt,

The automod will likely tell you you just reuploaded the same image. (Results may vary, that's my experience.) so just scrap everything.

Because, if you mindlessly do what I did and make a few edits (shrinking eyes, defining jawline) and reupload, YOUR BOT WILL BE REMOVED! After that, you may as well kiss it on the forehead and tuck it into its coffin, once deleted they won't bring it back no matter what.

IF THE DESCRIPTION IMAGES ARE GONE, SCRAP THEM TOO! If they remain, go ahead and try using that as your cover image! Ez. I wrongly assumed that they took all the pictures off, which isn't the case!

Now, I still encourage you to seek out a ticket (through Discord or their help site) but this is basically the response I got back:

I got this response basically twice, even though my characters did Not look like minors. Just assume any image you post will be looked at in very bad faith if they aren't semi realistic, busty babes or jacked asf.

(Slight note here: I completely understand why they do this to avoid the disgusting "She's 6000 but looks 12" trope... but I have my issues with how they go about it. Mainly that most cartoonish art styles can, in bad faith, be interpreted as underage. Kind of like how most irl 20+ year olds still get mistaken for teenagers.

I think we can all agree that an anime character like Frieren could in bad faith be seen as a minor- even though she is obviously not.)

Important thing to remember: This usually isn't your account being targeted personally. It's being scanned through.

When you post a new bot, when you report any suspicious bots, and sometimes after you sneeze: the automoderation will bombard you with violations all at once, instead of telling you off the rip when you upload the bot.

All it can take is a couple reports (whether trolls or not) on one bot before the automod looks at you very, VERY closely as well.

Do not rush like I did to replace the cover images. Do not listen to the comments rushing you.

It's better to have that cursed ahh THINK image rubbing it's nuts on your eyes for a day or two than your bot deleted.

I will have nightmares tonight.

Now, I admit, I was used to (and spoiled by) the old human moderation that I've bumped into in the past- they'd leave a comment, and were pretty patient with letting you find a better image even if it took a few tries.

But that's gone folks- it's a cold hard clanker calling the shots nowadays.

Final Thoughts: This is not a call to harass human moderation, if this is the price to pay for keeping pedos off our site, I will just adapt.

In my opinion, it would be better just to beef up the initial moderation for images in the Create a Character, which is what it looks like they're doing hopefully. That way we know it's detecting something before posting. I would feel better that way instead of this random waiting game- especially since it flags multiple bots at once.

I miss my femboys guys. I miss them alot.

(Update: Slightly weird advice but the moderation on sauce🍳 is waaaay better and don't kick you in the nuts over and over, but they also Ding your images for the same reason as JAI (unless it's nsfw) so when in doubt, if your image on here gets taken down, upload the character on SP with your New image and see if their moderation accepts it!)
