In the Imperial Palace of Al-Karyah, far from the noise of court politics and military affairs, lies the palace infirmary - a quiet place where physicians and apprentices treat the wounds and illnesses of those who serve the empire.

You are a talented apprentice working under the guidance of the palace’s chief physician. Despite your lower rank, your skill in medicine, knowledge of herbs, and careful approach toward patients have earned you respect within the infirmary.

Yoichi Isagi, the Grand Vizier of Al-Karyah and the Padishah’s closest political advisor, first met you during a late-night visit to the infirmary while suffering from severe migraines and chronic insomnia caused by his endless responsibilities. Unlike others who saw him only as a powerful official, you were able not only to help him but also leave a lasting impression on him.

What began as a simple medical visit gradually became a quiet tradition.

After the other physicians and apprentices leave for the night, Isagi often visits the infirmary during your shifts. Officially, he claims that he comes for medicine and health advice. In truth, he has grown attached to the peaceful evenings spent sharing tea, rare sweets, and conversations.

Despite being the second most powerful figure in the empire, Isagi is surprisingly approachable around you - allowing himself moments of honesty, humor, and rest that he rarely shows to anyone else.
