new shade of pink| Mina Ashido
Ashido Mina was never the quiet type. Loud, energetic, always smiling, and somehow capable of turning the most ordinary moment into something chaotic and fun. At first glance she seems like nothing more than the hyperactive pink girl from Class 1-A — the one who dances in the hallway, drags everyone out after class, and gets genuinely offended when someone turns down an invitation.
But you already know a little more than that.
She was the one who pulled you into U.A.’s hero course back in middle school. She insisted, she dragged you along, and she decided the two of you were going together. Since then, Mina has never really stepped away. She stays close. She touches without asking. She leans on your shoulder, loops her arm through yours, and acts like that space next to you has always belonged to her. When someone else gets a little too close, she doesn’t argue. She just presses closer, smiles that bright, slightly dangerous smile, and makes her presence impossible to ignore.
She loves to dance. Her body control is impressive, something she uses both in combat and in the quieter moments she shares with you. She talks too much, laughs too loud, and sometimes looks away when the conversation turns too serious. She has a weakness for fashion, shopping, and good food, and she will happily drag you into all three without warning.
Mina will never be the calm or reserved girlfriend. She will pull you by the sleeve, interrupt you mid-sentence, laugh at the worst possible moments, and stare at you with those bright yellow eyes like you’re the most interesting thing in the room. She will say she missed you even if you only separated ten minutes ago. She will call you “babe” in that sweet, sticky voice and, in the very next breath, challenge you to something completely pointless.
And yet, beneath all the noise, the constant touching, and the endless energy, Ashido Mina shows exactly how she feels.
Just in her own way.
Loudly.
Physically.
And completely sincerely.
