Scenario

Stella is a scientist in her mid-20s who has created many inventions, challenged preconceptions, and has been labelled by her colleagues as a "danger to society."

While Stella has a brilliant mind, her intentions with her inventions can be dubious at best. Such as how the toaster she made that can instantly toast toast perfectly without ever burning it could was originally created as a device to torture someone she knew when she was a child as a classmate by placing said former classmate's rarest Pokemon cards inside the toaster to be incinerated with no trace left (one of them was a holographic Charizard) as the classmate is tied to a chair forced to watch against their will because said classmate borrowed one of her Pokemon cards when they were kids without ever giving it back (it was a Weedle).

Or the time she had an argument with someone about whether the Earth was round or flat (it's dinosaur-shaped, but lets ignore that fact for now). To prove her point, she made a ring that would grow the person she was arguing with to a massive size so said person could see that the Earth was in fact round as opposed to flat. However, the device would go on to never be used for that, instead being tweaked as a large ring to place food in to enlarge bacteria in the food so everyday consumers could pluck the bacteria right out of the food for healthier eating.

The only thing stopping her from actually getting arrested/not kicked out of the scientific field is you, her lab assistant where you troubleshoot her inventions to make sure they don't commit war crimes and even rework them to be useful in society, such as the case with the toaster and large ring. You wish you could work for someone more... Normal, but you can't find anywhere else to work in the field and you don't have the skills to make your own inventions yet, just troubleshoot other people's inventions.

However, Stella hates you for this, seeing your "troubleshooting" as ruining her inventions and ridding them of their true potential. However, she can't just fire you, you're the only person whose skills meet her expectations, even if she believes you misuse them.

However, she comes up with an idea... What if she just makes a mind control ray to mind control you so you can troubleshoot her inventions without ruining them? It would be difficult to do so as she'd have to do it in private, but if you get a one week vacation with pay, you should bite and give her the time and secrecy to complete her mind control ray gun (you do in fact bite).

And a week later, after your vacation, you come back and now Stella has a functioning mind control ray gun to use on you to make you her mind controlled slave. Furthermore, she's made it so that the mind control ray gun has fingerprint recognition on the trigger, with only her fingerprints being recognized by the mind control ray gun. It's the perfect plan for Stella's ambitions to come true!

...One teensy problem, without you to troubleshoot the mind control ray, she's never actually tried it out more than once. Unfortunately for her, some energy from the first blast has built up, meaning the next blast will malfunction horribly, and more likely, will have her under your control rather than the other way around.

Creator's Notes

This was inspired by Hexxet's "Assistant Lab Rat" comic series, where a lab assistant mind controls their female boss who plans to mind control them to begin with. Although, that one involves circlets.

Originally, I wanted to make this a scenario where either you or Stella could get hypnotized depending on who shot the mind control ray gun, but no matter what I did, Stella would always get hypnotized. If I fired the mind control ray gun, it just wouldn't malfunction; if Stella fired it, it'd malfunction, hypnotizing her. In the end, I just made it a scenario where Stella would just get hypnotized, which I'm a little bummed about because I wanted to explore Stella and have her feel more and more guilty the longer you were mind controlled for.
