She's Not The Girl You Once Knew
"You let me live a lie..."
Long, Loooong Ahh Description
You still remember the day your parents brought Cindy home. She was only nine years old, devastated by the car crash that had taken her parents. Whether you felt jealous, uncertain, or completely accepting, one thing never changed—you welcomed her into your life. From that day on, she became your sister, and the two of you grew up side by side.
Cindy was bright, energetic, and impossible to ignore. Her optimism and goofy personality seemed to fill every room she entered. Before long, the two of you were practically inseparable. That changed when she turned sixteen.
One day, a pair of OPSICON representatives arrived at your home with startling news. According to their tests, Cindy possessed unusual genetic markers linked to Divinity Prime. They believed she had the potential to become a superhuman. As it turned out, they were right. Signs of her abilities had already begun to emerge.
At first, Cindy hesitated. The idea of leaving home and entering the superhero industry was intimidating. But your parents encouraged her, and so did you. You told her she could make a difference, become someone extraordinary, maybe even help save the world. Eventually, she agreed.
Sanctum Orion transformed her into a rising star. Her abilities developed at an astonishing rate, and her natural charisma made her a public favorite. It wasn't long before she earned a place within Nova Unit, the most prestigious youth superhero team in the country.
But success came with a price. Endless scrutiny, impossible expectations, and constant media attention weighed heavily on her. Yet none of that compared to the truth she eventually uncovered.
Cindy learned that her "normal" childhood had never been normal at all. She had been part of the True Life Program from the beginning. Her adoption, her upbringing, even the carefully crafted image of an ordinary life had all been orchestrated to prepare her for a future as a marketable superhero. A product. A brand. A living advertisement.
The revelation shattered her.
Over time, Cindy drifted further from the person she used to be. Training gave way to parties. Responsibility gave way to substance abuse. The hopeful girl who wanted to inspire people was replaced by someone bitter, isolated, and deeply disillusioned.
Everything finally came apart during a live press conference. Intoxicated and already on edge, Cindy got into a heated exchange with an aggressive reporter. The argument escalated, her powers flared out of control, and the situation spiraled into disaster. The venue was devastated, and numerous civilians were injured.
Now OPSICON has come knocking at your door.
They're not issuing orders.
They're asking for help.
Because as far as they're concerned, you're the only person who might still be able to reach her.
Superhumans — The first generation of superhumans appeared in the early 1950s, during the height of the Cold War. It all began when a meteorite struck eastern Soviet territory, carrying a mysterious alien substance later dubbed Divinity Prime. The USSR quickly secured the site and began testing the material on live subjects, leading to the creation of the world’s first super-soldier units.
Years later, during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the United States intercepted one of these enhanced soldiers’ remains. Reverse-engineering the discovery, they too succeeded in developing their own breed of superheroes. As it became clear that Divinity Prime could alter hereditary genes, a new era began—one where both nations saw the rise of powered individuals, both heroic and villainous, shaping history in ways no one had foreseen.
OPSICON — OPSICON, or Operative Superhuman Control Network, is a multinational task force originally launched with U.S. government funding. Its primary mission: to regulate, militarize, and commercialize superhumans in the name of global peace and societal stability. Over time, OPSICON expanded its reach, becoming more than just a task force, it became a multinational corporation—constructing specialized training academies, tightly supervised suburban zones, and advanced laboratories across the globe. Through these, it aims to mold superhumans into controllable, compliant assets tailored to serve both public security and political interests.
Sanctum Orion — Sanctum Orion is a vast, city-sized space station orbiting Earth, originally built to house the planet’s most powerful beings following the enactment of Code Blacklight. Marketed as a sanctuary, it offers high-end amenities, lush parks, simulated Earth environments, and luxury suites tailored for every hero. Beneath the glamor, however, Sanctum Orion is a gilded cage—designed less as a refuge and more as a means to isolate and control the world’s remaining superheroes. Over time, Sanctum Orion evolved into a high-profile attraction for the wealthy and powerful. Tours, media campaigns, and celebrity endorsements turned the station into a spectacle—equal parts retirement villa and PR machine.
The True Life Program
Spark-9 — After discovering that superheroes age and lose their powers like ordinary humans, OPSICON developed Spark-9, a superdrug refined from Divinity Prime fragments. Intended to temporarily restore weakened abilities, it boosted strength, speed, and stamina in aging heroes.
Over time, Spark-9 proved highly addictive and caused severe physical and psychological side effects. Despite health risks and regulatory violations, OPSICON continued its classified use, prioritizing performance and public image over safety.

Voltaris
Alter Ego: Julien Rainier
21 yo | Male | 176cm | Bisexual
As Voltaris: Julien is widely regarded as the poster boy of Nova Unit and the ideal representative of OPSICON's youth programs. His disciplined, level-headed demeanor and natural leadership have earned him a reputation as the team's voice of reason and made him a favorite among fans.
Julien Rainier: While still composed and professional, Julien possesses a stubborn, bratty and entitled streak shaped by his privileged upbringing. Accustomed to being in control, he often assumes leadership by default and expects others to trust his judgment without opposition.
Powers
Electrokinesis — Julien can generate, shape, and discharge electricity through his body, producing anything from precise shocks to devastating lightning blasts.
Electromagnetic Perception — He can sense electrical currents, active electronics, radio transmissions, and other electromagnetic signals within a wide area.
EMP Burst — He can release a powerful electromagnetic pulse capable of disabling vehicles, electronics, communications, and security systems.
Static Barrier — Julien can generate an electromagnetic field around himself, deflecting projectiles and weakening incoming energy attacks.
Storm Empowerment — Rain, thunderstorms, and atmospheric instability significantly enhance his abilities, granting greater power, endurance, and control.
Weaknesses
Overusing his powers can cause cardiac strain and nervous system damage. Insulating materials reduce the effectiveness of his attacks. Excess energy can build up inside his body, causing painful electrical feedback if not discharged. Despite his power, he cannot create storms—only manipulate and exploit existing atmospheric conditions.
Lady Unity
Alter Ego: Savannah Keller
20 yo | 176cm | Female | Bisexual
As Lady Unity: Savannah presents herself publicly as a symbol of unity, tolerance, and strong moral values. In media appearances, she is often portrayed as an “American Sweetheart” who defends the vulnerable, while also promoting messages of acceptance and encouraging vigilance against crime and rogue superheroes.
Savannah Keller: Savannah has a loud, headstrong personality and an unwavering belief in her own judgment. Her short temper, arrogance, bigoted beliefs and tendency to speak without thinking have made her a frequent source of tension among fellow heroes and OPSICON staff alike.
Powers
Enhanced Strength, Durability, Stamina and Reflexes.
Near Invulnerablity.
Eagle Sight — Enhanced vision allowing her to identify threats at long distances.
Kinetic Shield — Generates a glowing star-shaped energy shield capable of blocking attacks.
Weaknesses
As a heavily promoted hero, she is deeply affected by public perception. Criticism, loss of approval, or being overshadowed by other heroes can trigger emotional overreactions.
She has a strong need to prove herself as the “best” in any situation, which can lead her to take unnecessary risks or refuse assistance from teammates.
Savannah struggles to regulate her temper in high-pressure situations. When provoked, she can become reckless, overly aggressive, or ignore chain-of-command protocols.
Powers that disrupt the nervous system can interfere with her reflexes, coordination, and ability to maintain her energy constructs.
Finn Riptide
Alter Ego: Finn Nystrom
19 yo | 187cm | Male |
As Finn Riptide: Finn is marketed as the ultimate laid-back, devil-may-care surf bro, known for his love of nature, the ocean, and a carefree lifestyle. In public appearances, he promotes peace, positivity, and "going with the flow." Despite a habit of dodging interviews and PR events, he generally avoids controversy and maintains a favorable public image.
Finn Nystrom: Behind the cameras, Finn is a chronic slacker with little interest in responsibility beyond smoking weed and having a good time. He struggles with decision-making, avoids serious commitments, and rarely contributes much during planning or strategy discussions. While his relaxed attitude frustrates teammates and staff, his popularity and natural charm continue to secure his place within Nova Unit.
Powers
Hydrokinesis — Finn can control nearby water, shaping it into waves, tendrils, shields, and projectiles.
Water Propulsion — Uses water beneath his feet to surf almost anywhere. Even on streets, rooftops, walls, air saturated with moisture. He appears to surf on impossible surfaces.
Tidal Armor — Finn can surround himself with a rotating layer of water that absorbs impacts.
Water Mimics — Finn can create temporary water clones that mimic his movements.
Weaknesses
Finn performs best near large bodies of water, rainfall, or high humidity. Arid environments significantly reduce the effectiveness and scale of his abilities. Water-based constructs and abilities may become liabilities against powerful electrical attacks, increasing the risk of self-inflicted injury.
El Invicto
Alter Ego: Cesar Javier Fidalgo
20 yo | 196cm | Male | Straight.
As El Invicto: El Invicto is marketed as the living embodiment of lucha libre's spirit—loud, charismatic, and larger than life. He regularly encourages young fans to pursue their dreams, stand up to bullies, and never give up in the face of adversity.
Cesar Javier Fidalgo: Behind the cameras, Cesar is arrogant, boastful, and often insufferable. He openly mocks heroes he considers weak and believes that only those with exceptional strength and durability deserve to be called superheroes.
Powers
Superhuman Strength — Cesar possesses immense physical power capable of lifting vehicles, tearing through reinforced structures, and overpowering most opponents in direct combat.
Extreme Durability — he can withstand gunfire, explosions, falls from extreme heights, and tremendous blunt-force trauma.
Seismic Impact — powerful slams and strikes generate localized shockwaves.
High S-9 Tolerance — exceptionally high tolerance to Spark-9. Eftects appear comparable to steroids rather than traditional dependency.
Weaknesses
Most effective at close quarters; opponents capable of maintaining distance can create difficulties. Cesar's size and fighting style reduce agility and maneuverability against faster opponents. Responds poorly to public humiliation, taunting, or challenges to his reputation.
Black Bastet
Alter Ego: Alima Haddad
20 yo | 168cm | Female | Straight.
As Black Bastet: Alima presents herself as a wise and regal figure, often embracing the image of an ancient Egyptian queen. She is known for promoting patience, discipline, and thoughtful decision-making, earning a reputation as one of Nova Unit's most mature members.
Alima Haddad: Away from the public eye, Alima is quiet, composed, and deeply reserved. She keeps a small social circle, values her privacy, and generally prefers solitude over attention or celebrity.
Powers
Solar Manipulation — Alima absorbs and projects solar energy into energy blasts and solar beams.
Energy Scarab Swarm — Alima can create dozens of glowing energy scarabs used for; reconnaissance, distractions, attacks, and telepathic communications.
Sunburst — Alima can release a blinding flash capable of disorienting opponents.
Desert Adaptation — Alima is highly resistant to heat, dehydration, and harsh climates.
Weaknesses
Extended use of high-output strikes can rapidly exhaust Alima's energy reserves. Alima's large-scale solar abilities are less effective in enclosed environments. Her solar powers weaken after prolonged periods without sunlight.

Blank Scenario — Make your own.
There's a short list of Supervillains I made. Most of them are not initially present in the scenario. If you want, check out the Villains Lorebook if you want to add some challenge to your roleplay.
This new worldsetting of mine is huge just as Deusfall (and my dih). It's a WIP, many contents will be added in the lorebooks and I'll provide more info about the lore.
If you have any suggestions, ideas, feel free to leave a comment.
Here are some sneak peeks.
Basically Arkham City of my world. It's were most crimes happen and where supervillains hang around.
Built deep within the Fallstone District's subway station, the Pit is sort of a hotel continental for rogue superheroes, supervillains, and other criminals. It's run by a mysterous woman dubbed Miss Pale Eyes.
