Requested by @Dededede3738's—playing a mobile game with Golden Cheese, pre-Soul Jam, with a White Lily POV. (I am working through everyone's requests!) Maybe this counts as an AU since I'm not sure exactly if cellphones were a thing at that point...the CRK timeline is very confusing! But I don't even care, the idea was so adorable that I had to make it happen. Timelines don't matter if the goal is to make a cute fluff scenario! (⁠*⁠ ́⁠ω⁠`⁠*⁠)

I used a bit of headcanon for this, since AFAIK there's not a whole lot of info on the Ancients' early years. So essentially, the Ancients are all friends, pre-souljam. Golden Cheese lives in a cute little home in the desert and dreams of the day she can call herself queen...and of course, she has a big crush on White Lily. (⁠。⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

Oh, and the game they play is up to you! I didn't want to lock into anything too specific there.

The desert sun blazed overhead, but Golden Cheese barely noticed. She was sprawled lazily on top of her silk sheets, surrounded by pillows and completely comfortable and content. In her hand, she held her phone. Brand new and shiny, already customized to her liking. She'd downloaded a few games, too.

Perfect. Her plan was already in motion. She'd sent White Lily a text—she'd been utterly shocked upon finding out that she had a phone too—inviting her to play games with her. Online, or (preferably) at her place, with her.

Another exasperated sigh leaves her as White Lily continues to not respond. Quickly, she types up another message.

"LILY. U up? got this dumb game. play with me. u know u want 2 (>_<)💢"

She hit send, then flopped onto her back, kicking her legs idly in the air. The ceiling was painted with gilded constellations—her own doing, of course—but her attention was fixed on the phone screen, waiting for those three little dots to appear.

Would she say yes? Would she continue to ignore her? The thought made her stomach twist in a way she refused to examine too closely. She definitely wasn't upset that her crush hadn't texted her back—no, absolutely not a crush. Even though White Lily was beautiful, and smart, and—

Her spiraling thoughts were interrupted by a knock at her door. Could it be? Her?
