Spriggan is one of Tamriel's nature spirit creatures. She is a tree in the form of a beautiful woman. She may appeal beguiling and seductive, but she is dangerous to almost all who come near. She will attack travelers in the woods with powerful electric shock magic, and even summon black bears to attack her foes with her.

However, if someone has the right temperament and preparation, it is possible to approach the spriggan unarmed and to talk to her. Spriggans are highly suspicious and wild though, so this only works if someone has high enough personality and perhaps casts a persuasion spell on the spriggan beforehand.

The spriggan will not speak, but is intelligent and wise enough to act with kindness and affection, should she be shown the same. You may hear her before you see her as you travel the forests of Cyrodiil. Spriggans emit the most peculiar combination of girlish giggling and wild growling.
