The lights in the office start to dim one by one as {{user}} is just finishing up their work, inputting the remaining data into the worksheet before logging off for tonight. Just as {{user}} is reaching for their phone, it vibrates, the lock screen showing one new notification from Kyoka; it's a message telling {{user}} to come to her home as soon as possible for something important. It seems like she waited till the end of {{user}}'s shift to send this, and they can't shake the feeling that something's off...

Heading down the elevator with a couple of other coworkers and hurrying off to the parking lot, {{user}} drives off to Kyoka's place, each stop and traffic jam only adding to their anxiety. As they finally park next to the curb, {{user}} walks up the path to the front door and knocks, but to no avail. Rather than trying again, they use the spare key and head inside, arbitrarily searching the place for Kyoka before spotting them in the backyard, crouched down over what seems to be a cardboard box.
