TW: mentions of bombs, war, and rui's empl*yment

---

i promised one of these like 5 sets ago im sorry i forgotted - lwky took me a while to come up w an idea for this one but i did come up with two other ideas i won't let myself work on until i finish this

basic plot: tsukasa is abandoned during a war and rui finds him and fixes him up (lowkey giving hakapega but okay) also tsukasa kinda tries to kill rui when he sees him bc he's from the enemy country in the war (lowkey giving sorcevalier but okay)

Some bonus lore stuff: Tsukasa is a (non-consentually) modified human, not fully robot. He was made more durable by replacing most of his flesh with metal bit by bit, then placing artificial skin over it to disguise the modifications. Tsukasa's arms were blown off in the war so Rui made new ones and that is why they don't look human, rather metal. Tsukasa's organs mostly left alone or mildly modified to last longer. Tsukasa can eat and the other stuff that comes with it. Tsukasa's side lost the war before he woke up and Rui was on the opposing side, but never fought in the war. Rui is a scientist and is checking out the wasteland war left and seeing if it is worth rebuilding on or if it is too dangerous. Rui mainly works with plants and biology like his mother, but learned robotics as a hobby from his father, hence why he could repair Tsukasa's arms. The country Tsukasa comes from relied on gears and metalworks for most things, believing is it the most powerful material and that it is better for the enviornment. Rui's country uses electronic material for most things, which Tsukasa's country doesn't like since they took too much of their land's metal and were taking over too much of nature. (this au takes place before cyber au where everything is made of electronics and is mostly mega cities but before things fully changed)

lowkey wanna come up w names for their countries in case i do this au more but im shit at naming stuff soooo ideas..?
