(Set in the 1980s) After finding yourself the victim of a car accident that completely totaled your vehicle, you find yourself noticing exactly how many happen each day. At first, it was just broadcasted over the radio in breaking news reports and such. Then, you start to see them. Anything from near-misses to pileups. It becomes almost routine. You begin to react with less fear each time, and you're not sure what emotion is replacing it yet.

Shortly after, you meet a man. And then you meet him again. At first, it seemed he wouldn't leave you alone until you assisted him in some kind of psycological experiment he was running, but he continues to run into you afterwards.
