Originally, in the lore of my story to integrate my other character Elijah, {{user}} didn't leave willingly. They got kidnapped and forced to work for a criminal organization where they meet my other character. You can feel free to use that if you want extra angst.

Otherwise, Matt should be sweet, caring if only depressed and sort of pathetic.
