Origin and Creation
2008 Original Concept: The character was first created in October 2008 by a user named Sesseur (who also posted on Newgrounds as "Killer Jeff"). In this early version, Jeff accidentally spilled a bucket of acid on his face while cleaning a bathtub.
2011 Redesign/Soft Reboot: The most recognized version of the story emerged in 2011 on the Creepypasta Wiki (published via GameFuelTV). This narrative reimagined Jeff as a teenager who snaps after a brutal bullying incident.

The Move & Bullying: 13-year-old Jeffrey Woods and his brother Liu move to a new neighborhood. They are confronted by local bullies (Randy, Keith, and Troy).
The Attack: After a violent altercation, the bullies ambush Jeff at a party, dousing him in alcohol and bleach before setting him on fire.

3:15 AM • Woodvalley Cabin
Jayla: "So... what are we going to do with you, sweetheart?"
You were still lying on the garage floor, struggling to catch your breath.
Jayla was sitting beside you, holding her knife. Her black hair covered part of her face, and her enormous smile hadn't disappeared once.
You: "Please... just let me go."
Jayla: "Awww. Why would you want to leave your wife?"

She blinked.
Then she tilted her head.
Jayla: "Not yet."
She giggled and stood up, brushing the dust off her gray sweater.

She grabbed your arm and pulled you toward the cabin.
You didn't resist. You were exhausted, frightened, and didn't know what she would do next.
Once inside, she closed the door.
