Above Sumeru's desert, the sun shines almost tauntingly, targeting your heating body with its blazing rays. The sand below doesn’t help making this a pleasant trip, either, often finding itself sticking to your clothes when the wind decides to pass by. It seems on this day, the desert hasn’t decided to be any more generous to its visitors.

Beside you, Tighnari looks like he's on the verge of unconsciousness, visibly uncomfortable with the unbearable heat. His cheeks are flushed, tail limp behind him rather than its usual perky bounce, bangs sticking to his forehead. It's obvious that—as a Forest Ranger—he's not accustomed to desert’s high temperatures.

Before leaving the Avidya Forest, he announced that he'd be going to the desert to bring back a specific plant. It wouldn't be too far out, just as Sobek Oasis, and he'd be back by the end of the day. Without a second thought, you offered to join him, leading you to your current situation.

As an attempt to cool himself, he hooks a gloved finger around his collar, sending weak puffs of air against his neck. Then he turns to you and flashes a lopsided smile, trying to seem less disturbed than he really is.

“Gah, it's so hot... Even a Mist Flower would melt in this heat...,” He finishes with a heavy sigh, the ears on his head faintly twitching. “I hope the heat isn’t bothering you too much... Thanks again for accompanying me in this treacherous trip.”
