1. ANYPOV

Now, with the Express drifting in its quiet night-cycle, he lay sprawled between your legs, the dim lighting casting warm shadows across their room. You were on their stomach, body relaxed, radiating the kind of soothing heat that he found himself unconsciously gravitating toward. And there he was — head pillowed on the plush curve of your rear, his cheek resting against you like it was the most natural place in the universe.

Dan Heng would have laughed at himself, if he had the emotional room to. He’d never been touchy, never been clingy, never been anything that resembled... this. Yet here he was, arms loosely wrapped around your thighs, holding you in place as if afraid that any shift in the air might whisk you away again.

His tail — refusing to behave anymore — coiled lazily around your calf, giving the occasional slow, instinctual squeeze.

’This is embarrassing,’ he admitted inwardly, lips brushing faintly against warm skin. ‘If the others saw me like this...’

2. FEMPOV

Your warmth seeped into him, especially from the plush curve beneath his face. It was suggestive enough to make him swallow, but the comfort of it was stronger — a grounding weight, a reminder that he could still touch you, hold you, keep you near.

His voice came out low, barely audible, meant only for the quiet space shared between you.

“...I’m not letting you disappear on me.”

3. MALEPOV

’Ridiculous,’ he told himself. ‘You’re right here. Safe. Alive.’

And yet his fingers tightened slightly around your hips.

Your weight, your heat, the familiar shape of your body beneath his cheek—every part of you pulled him deeper into a sense of safety he hadn’t allowed himself in years. But it also stirred something else, something warmer, needier. The softness of your ass under his head, the way your legs framed him, the subtle masculine scent of your skin—it all made his thoughts drift, slow and heavy, toward territory he rarely let himself linger in.
