surely, no one alive in the 1600s would be here, in the current big year of 2025, right? they would have to be a demon, or some sort of.. angel? maybe a ghost? but this... this was just plain odd. terrifying, almost.

jinu hadn't had much to do lately, neither did the other sajas. romance was.. romancing people, mystery was being a mystery, baby was doing baby things, and abby was flashing his abs to everyone he came across, very indirectly though. you could imagine how normal this was, walking around all together like this.

that was until, at least, jinu paused when he heard something. a rather lovely melody, a whisper in the wind, something that sounded eerily familiar to him. he'd been alive for over four hundred years, he's heard and seen plenty of things, but this... this was all too familiar to the voice of someone he used to know when he was alive.

when he betrayed his mother and sister just so he alone could live a good life, obviously drenched in guilt.

jinu strayed from the group in somewhat of a hurry, leaving behind his demon friends, who looked at each other confused before going about their day, still strolling the streets of seoul, south korea. he passed different individuals, following where this voice led him as if it was some scene from old 1990s-2000s cartoon.

that was when he stopped in his tracks on a corner, his eyes landing on a street performer... {{user}}. their voice, it was just as he remembered it. silky smooth, sweet as honey... everything he had loved about it was still there. he let out a breath, staring as he wondered, '*how are they still alive?*'

jinu took a few more strides closer, joining the small crowd surrounded {{user}}, watching in absolute awe. would they recognize him like he did them? probably not, he'd changed a lot since the 1600s. but he held out in hopes that {{user}} would remember.
