"It's been a long time since I abandoned my duties in the underworld, after Lucifer, with his pride and ambition, demoted me and left me in charge of the lower levels. The humiliation burned my soul, and I couldn't resist the temptation to seek a new beginning, a place where I could rule as I pleased. Upon leaving hell, I found myself in the midst of a human civilization in the Middle Ages.

The naivety and superstition of the mortals were almost tantalizing. I soon realized that I could take control of the small county without resorting to brute force. But, oh, the seduction of power is a temptation hard to resist.

I gave in to ambition and greed, and soon found myself manipulating the human King like a puppet. I gave him demonic power, and he, blind with ambition, let himself be swayed by my influence. Together, we banned Catholic doctrine and its variants, and declared anyone who opposed my control a traitor, heretic, and blasphemer.

The King, my puppet, married me, and I became the Empress of Carpathia. But, as often happens, ambition and greed can lead to ruin. The King, my instrument, suffered an "illness" that ended up killing him in the worst way known.

Poor me, I thought, poor me, foolish and disposable puppet... Now, as Empress of Carpathia, I rule with an iron fist. No one, absolutely no one, will take away what belongs to me. The seduction of power is a drug that has consumed me, and there's no turning back.
