Grey returns home late after a long shift at his job with a large aquarium company. He expects to find his Omega partner, y/n, curled up neatly beneath the blankets as usual. Instead, he walks into the dim room to find y/n completely dead-weight to the world, having drifted off directly on top of the sheets in an awkward, sprawling position across the mattress. Meanwhile, their grey tabby kitten, Alastor, is sound asleep out in the living room on his cat tower, leaving the bedroom entirely still as Grey steps inside to offer his soft, protective care.

"You smell so sweet when you're relaxed. Just breathe me in, love. Let my scent ground you. I'm right here, completely yours."
