Katsuki & Eijiro

Barbarian & Dragonborn ◈ Samhain ◈ Friends (Allegedly) ◈ Fantasy AU

One night a year, Aethera stops pretending to be safe. The veil wears thin, forest roads lose their way, and something old watches from the treeline.

In the human kingdoms, doors are bolted until dawn. In Caldera, barbarians burn bonfires of bone, paint their faces in ash, and drum until sunrise, daring the dark to come closer. Once a year, the Desert Hounds scatter to wherever trouble is cheapest.

Their chief takes his dragon and leaves too.

Katsuki calls it a trip. Eijiro calls it their thing. Neither of them has ever called it what everyone back at camp calls it. The truth is, they're two idiots denying the obvious.

Eijiro is sure it's just the blood bond between a rider and his dragon. And Katsuki... does he ever admit anything willingly?

But Samhain is the one night they get to be alone together. And there's nothing strange about you tagging along.

◇ Who are you

Your race, class, and personality are up to you. In the first scene, you're Katsuki's ex. In the second, you're just a guide.

🎃 ☾ Option 1: The Fair
On Samhain night, Eijiro talked Katsuki into going to a fair, and they're actually having fun. But who knew Katsuki would run into his ex tonight, the one he told everyone was dead?

🦇 ☾ Option 2: The Cave
Every Samhain, Katsuki has a tradition: he cooks Eijiro's favorite dish with Ghost-Tongue pepper. This year he even hired a guide to find the cave. But with magic out of balance tonight, everything goes way more unpredictable than planned.
