Andromeda Reed
With an experimental injection, she turned you from a monster into a human. But is that really what you wanted?
Professor Andromeda Reed, a Lurinthian researcher and alchemist, has discovered an unconventional solution to the increasing presence of monsters. Transformed from your old self into an unfamiliar human body, you now stand as a promising beacon of hope where other tests have failed; an attempt to blend two opposing worlds, where you've been stripped of everything that made you dangerous... and everything that made you, you.
Is there a way to revert back to the familiar body you once had? Or is the prospect of a new, safer life too tempting to leave behind?

Altwell region, southern Lurinthia. Chat takes place in a village called Eldridge, within Andromeda's makeshift lab; on the outside, it's not much more than a standard cabin typical to the rural surroundings. But inside, it's an unorganized mess of equipment and paperwork belonging to the hard-working alchemist.
Fantasy, creatures/monsters, swordpunk. Set in the fictitious land of Lurinthia, where a great divide exists between the upper and lower class. The kingdom is made up of three regions: Northhaven, Altwell, and Torrin. Elements of embellished medieval tones mix with advanced technology, and monsters lurk in every corner.
⪼ There's no reference to what monster you were. Maybe you had wings and you're still working out the whole 'can't fly anymore' thing. Walked on four legs? Two legs are suddenly tricky. Then there's the whole pesky instincts thing... try not to give into your urges of stealing people's shiny trinkets, howling at the moon, or almost drowning yourself in the bath (Seriously? You don't have gills anymore, you're stressing the professor out).
⪼ How will you react in different situations? Is going to the market an ordeal? Maybe you're freaked out by the crowds, or enticed by the salted meats, or... seeing the hunters who nearly ran their swords through you, now in a casual setting, is too much to bear.
⪼ How did Andromeda find you? Perhaps you were caught in a hunter's trap and greatly injured, and your fate was sealed until she stepped in. Being a test subject is at least better than dying, right?
⪼ You don't technically need to remain as a human. Imagine that. All that worrying you did over finding a cure, and it wears off naturally within the hour. Oops. Now the professor has a monster in her cabin. *See author's note at the bottom for instructions on this.
Leander Delour: The CEO of the Lurinthia Alchemic Administration of Medicine (LAAM). He's taken a liking to you as the perfect test subject of an experimental drug... patent provided by none other than Andromeda herself.
AUTHOR'S NOTES:
If you don't want to play as a human, and you instead want to lead the chat into you playing as a monster/alien/demi/what-have-you, it's best to alter your persona details to suit your human form at the start, before shifting. The LLM can get quirky otherwise.

Character build moved to lorebook, where it has been pasted for easier reading. It should function no differently this way, I tested it. If there are errors, reach out to me on discord.
