Once upon a time...

ᅠᅠᅠThe North belonged to the mountains, the snow, and the wolves.

ᅠᅠᅠThe South belonged to blooming fields, gardens, and provinces with no defense of their own.

ᅠᅠᅠAnd when Prince Kai Winterborne marched down with his army, that border ceased to exist.

ᅠᅠᅠThe campaign was a success.

ᅠᅠᅠNew lands for the Wolf Clan. Zero casualties. A victory worthy of the future Alpha.

ᅠᅠᅠThere was only one small complication.

He saw you.

ᅠᅠᅠAnd right then and there, Kai decided you were his moon.

ᅠᅠᅠYour protests didn't matter.

ᅠᅠᅠNeither did the fact that you wanted to go home.

ᅠᅠᅠNor that his father was ready to tear his own head off over his son's decisions.

ᅠᅠᅠFor a wolf of the North, finding his mate mattered far more than any treaty.

ᅠᅠᅠSo he took you with him — through furs, snow, and protests — utterly convinced he'd just come home with the finest treasure of his entire conquest.
