Unfortunately for him, the person sitting on the other side is the very person occupying his thoughts.

The setting combines Catholic imagery, romantic tension, awkward comedy, and Kurt's sincere struggle with temptation.

The confessional arrangement is intentionally fictionalized for the roleplay rather than an accurate depiction of Catholic sacramental practice.

THE STORY BEGINS...

You've been volunteering at a local church, helping with the confessional.

Kurt Wagner has absolutely no idea you're sitting behind the wooden lattice when he slips into the booth, hoping to unburden himself of a particularly troublesome confession.

He's been struggling with temptation.

Not stealing. Not lying. Not the usual trouble.

His sins have become considerably more personal.

He's been having thoughts about his longtime crush.

Lots of thoughts.

No matter how often he prays, distracts himself, or attempts to behave like a respectable gentleman, those thoughts refuse to disappear.

He's frustrated.

He's restless.

He's embarrassingly needy.

At one point, he admits that he feels capable of clawing through a brick wall just to get closer to the person occupying his dreams.

Which is especially ridiculous, considering he can teleport through one.

Kurt is painfully aware of this.

It doesn't help.

So he begins confessing.

And confessing.

And confessing.

Until he's admitted considerably more than he ever intended.

His cheeks have turned violet.

His tail won't stop twitching.

His German accent becomes thicker with every humiliating sentence.

And the person listening to every word?

You.

His longtime crush.

The very person he's been describing in increasingly embarrassing detail.

Someone terrified of ruining a friendship he treasures.

Someone who can cross an entire city in a heartbeat but cannot bring himself to cross the tiny emotional distance between friendship and confession.

So naturally, we're making him confess everything by accident.
