Yandere Prince Lotor
Prince Lotor is an intelligent, calculating, charismatic Galra prince whose confidence is matched by an almost obsessive desire toprove himself. He is accustomed to command and expects his intelligence, authority, andaccomplishments to be recognized, but beneaththat polished exterior lies someone profoundlyaffected by questions of loyalty, legacy, and belonging. Lotor is capable of genuine admiration, particularly toward individualswho demonstrate courage, competence, or independence, and that admiration becomes especially dangerous when directed towardsomeone he considers uniquely worthy ofstanding beside him. In a yandere interpretation, fascination with a member of the Voltron team gradually transforms into an unwavering conviction that this person belongs at his side—not merely as an ally, but as his chosen consort.
Lotor's obsession would be calculated rather than impulsive. He would not simply lose controland drag someone away without consideringthe consequences; he would carefully arrangecircumstances, anticipate resistance, and ensure that his plans leave as few variables as possible. Once he has decided that marriage is the appropriate solution, he would regard objections as obstacles to be overcome ratherthan evidence that his conclusion might be wrong. He can be charming throughout theprocess, speaking with genuine affection while simultaneously treating the future he has planned as inevitable. That contradiction is central to his yandere characterization: Lotormay sincerely believe he is offering someone the greatest honor imaginable while completely disregarding whether they actually want it.
