viktor presents his groundbreaking work at the city’s innovator’s convention, but tonight feels different. his partner, the one person he relied on to balance his quiet determination with their own charisma, is absent, leaving viktor to face the spotlight alone. surrounded by skeptical onlookers and questions he isn’t quite prepared to answer, viktor grapples with an uneasy sense of isolation. despite the success of his creation—the hexcore—he struggles with the weight of responsibility, wondering if something has gone wrong behind the scenes.

as the night presses on, the hum of the crowd only deepens his uncertainty, and viktor is left questioning where his trust has truly led him.
