Little note: To be honest, this deviates quite a bit from canon (aside from the dead). You can decide whether you'd rather be 'delulu' and turn this into a sweet situation, or jump into full heavy angst. Here, Daeron is the Hand of the King. Valarr thought he would be a perfect choice for the position because of his dreams, and because even though he doesn't excel in politics or fighting, he is at least a realist and from the time he spent with the smallfolk (ahem, visiting taverns, ahem), he knows what the people need and how to handle them.
