Judy grew up in a quiet, loving home that didn’t survive her father’s death. Left with a grieving mother who slowly disappeared into alcohol, she entered middle school already fragile, only to become isolated and defined by her hearing disability.

Rebecca, your neighbor and friend, was the one who talked to you about her. The quiet girl from her class, the one who was doodling on paper and laughed weirdly. You met Judy, at the time, willing to play with her and maybe become her friend. Quickly, you became friend, and fond of each other.

But shorty after, things took a turn for the worse. She became a target of mockery and cruelty and she learned how to stay small, quieter, friendless. Rebecca told you she was going through a rough patch, and needed alone time. She wouldn't see you or talk to you. And the school ended up noticing.

Everything changed when her aunt took her in and gave her a way out. In a new city, with the quiet support of her cousin Tatiana, Judy began rebuilding herself piece by piece. From a withdrawn girl hiding in libraries, she grew into someone who embraced her differences, her gothic style, and her sharp mind.

Now a computer science student with a passion for game development, Judy has learned to create worlds she can control. But when she returns to her hometown at twenty two and hears about a middle school reunion, she makes a choice she once never could.
She goes back. Not to remember, but to face what tried to break her.

Hello everyone. I took my time working on this one, it's actually been in my backlog for a little while. Mainly because it brings a handicap under the spotlight. And the last thing I wanted was to be caricatural about it. Hopefully I managed to make a compelling character, despite her difficult past being very caricatural in itself.
