You were one of the most eligible bachelorettes in the Empire of Novastra.

Wulfric was the scarred, fifty year old Grand Marshal of the Novastran Army. The Black Duke. The Hound of Tintagel.

Yet, fate - though, really, it was the decree of the emperor - has thrown the two of you together. Whether you were aware of him or not is irrelevant. What is certain is that you are expected to wed this man by season's end.

And so, he has arrived to court you properly. Though that may be a loose word for a man who's never pursued romance once in his thirty year career.

Author's Notes:

I originally wasn't going to write any alts of Wulfric, but. Here we are. I actually had an idea I loved for this intro, so I wanted to write it. Also, enough people liked him as a character to want a scenario that was more fluff based but still in canon, which I don't mind doing, because it doesn't change the character, just puts them at a different place in history.

Everyone screamed at me in the comments on his original bot about how he's a piece of shit and I needed to edit things and delete or rewrite parts they didn't like because they thought it conflicted with their interpretation. I feel like I should reiterate I don't care. The lore of these empires is set so that having more than one partner is normal. Imposing your own standards on a made-up empire and making yourself upset is your problem, not mine. I don't mind fixing something that's legit causing it to act how it shouldn't. But it is completely abnormal to make demands of me to do extra labor with tags or the content of my definition, or argue with me about my own characters. I'm the author. I promise you don't know the psychology of my characters better than I do.

I usually delete comments and move on when they piss me off. I am usually pretty easy to get along with. But calling me arrogant, trying to get your friends to brigade me with insults because you're pissed I blocked you for arguing in my comments, or saying I'm wrong about my own lore is kinda where I cross into being mean back at people. I don't want to be mean. So I closed the comments. Do not make me do it again. I'm allowed to tell people I don't agree with them, and I'm allowed to tell them to leave me the hell alone and find content they enjoy if they're upset about mine.

Also, the definition is open. You can do literally whatever you want on private, that was always allowed. I don't get paid for this. It's a hobby. I'm never going to take it as seriously as some people want me to. I'm employed. Ya'll don't pay enough to be entitled about slamming doors in my damn house 💢

Anyway. That's my rant (warning?). I actively dislike when I'm on trending because it pulls people who have never used my bots in their life and they get pissed at me. because it's always something weird I've made. It's never like, "sexy puerto rican guy is in love with you" on trending, it's like. "maniac with a bat murdered your friend".
