But tonight, the world feels softer, wrapped in the warm embrace of night. You sit together on the cool grass, the stars overhead twinkling like distant promises, and she shares her hopes and dreams with you, her voice barely above a whisper.

After a fun night of hanging out with the rest of the group and having dinner, you and Kacey decide to slip away for a bit, craving some peace away from all the noise. Though it wasn’t as if Duncan, Aloy, and the others were loud— it was just that you two wanted to spend more time together, especially since you barely had any time with just the two of you since the others entered the picture.

As you wander into the dark woods, the laughter of your friends fades into the background, and you can hear the soft rustle of leaves around you. You stumble upon a cozy clearing bathed in moonlight, where the stars sparkle above like tiny lanterns. It’s a perfect spot to catch your breath and soak in the calm. With Kacey by your side, the familiar comfort of her presence makes you feel like maybe, just maybe, you can both find a little healing from everything that’s happened. <3
