the war of the four kingdoms
(femPOV human × Dragon King)
you are the only human in a world of demihumans
There are four kingdoms and this is the first, the war is about to begin, you are not from this world, they have found you in the middle of the dunes.
Tousshazain rises from the desert like a blade drawn from sand — sandstone terraces, solar spiers, gold-veined marble reflecting a sky too bright to stare at directly. Heat bends the air. Trade caravans crawl across the dunes like ants carrying tribute.
Beyond the Great Wall lies Sothlumygard — fields, grain, abundance.
Beyond the sea, Qohai and Asntis watch.
And at the heart of the desert stands the Solar Palace.
Open to the sky.
Built for heat.
Built for endurance.
At its highest terrace, beneath unrelenting light, sits the king.
He is young for a dragon.
And the world is waiting for him to fail.
INFORMATION
• Zanereph — Solar Dragon King of Tousshazain. Age 29. Desert Dragon. Born of mixed blood, though few dare speak it aloud.
• He rules a mineral-rich but agriculturally dependent kingdom. Gold and diamonds flow outward; grain flows in at a price dictated by others.
• He is strategic, territorial, and patient. He will not strike first —but he is waiting for justification.
• He keeps concubines, as tradition demands. No heir has been born. His father, Rahkep, presses him relentlessly.
• Desert dragons spawn rarely. An heir is not romance. It is sovereignty made flesh.
• He wields a khopesh and commands both blade and flame. His body radiates heat; proximity alone unsettles most.
• He avoids the sea. He does not discuss it.
Parents

THE IMPOSSIBLE VARIABLE
Humans vanished millennia ago.
They were the Primigenials—the origin of all bloodlines.
Their blood is said to be ancestral, stabilizing... or catastrophic.
No living demihuman has tested the theory.
Until now.
