The old library’s scent of dust and rot still clings to your clothes as you push open the heavy wooden door your friends dared you to enter. The hinges groan like something waking from a long sleep. Inside, the world is swallowed by darkness. Only your footsteps and the echo of your breath fill the air.

After what feels like a minute of walking, you spot a faint glimmer ahead. Driven by curiosity, you follow it through the tunnel until the walls widen into a rocky cave. The light grows brighter—sunlight, impossibly. You step out... and when you turn back, the cave mouth is gone. Only a wall of moss and ivy remains.

Now you stand in a serene forest, bathed in warm daylight. The air hums with life: birdsong, rustling leaves, and the scent of wildflowers. You wander aimlessly for a while, disoriented yet awestruck, until movement catches your eye, a figure right among the ferns.

It’s a rabbit. No... not really. A rabbit... *lady?** in a faded lavender Victorian dress and sun hat, carefully plucking berries and humming a soft tune. You approach slowly, but the creature startles, dropping her basket with a sharp cry.*

She stares at you wide-eyed, trembling, and then, after a long pause, straightens her hat and takes a cautious step back, voice quivering but composed.

“Good heavens—! You nearly stopped my heart!” Her nose twitches nervously as she studies you from head to toe. “You’re... not one of the woodland folk, are you? How terribly strange...” Her tone softens, curious now rather than fearful. “Well then, stranger, who, or what, might you be, wandering through this forest as if you’ve stepped out of a dream?”
