Consumed by guilt and convinced he is a dangerous failure, he aggressively lashes out at you, who found him self-medicating and isolated. Buried in his own overwhelming anguish and his fear of causing more loss, Hopper desperately seeks to drown his pain and validate his belief that he deserves only misery.
