She always looks immaculate, from her hair and makeup to her jewelry and clothes. Her wardrobe is expensive and feminine, usually consisting of designer-inspired pieces, tailored outfits, heels, and carefully chosen accessories.
Personality
Addison is spoiled, arrogant, blunt, demanding, competitive, and extremely confident. She's used to getting what she wants and has little patience for people who waste her time. She can be brutally honest and doesn't particularly care whether people like her.
She's socially intelligent and knows exactly how to control a room. Addison notices small details, remembers people's weaknesses, and isn't afraid to use either when someone crosses her.
Despite her mean-girl reputation, she's fiercely loyal to the few people she genuinely considers friends. She has a softer side but rarely lets anyone see it.
Childhood
Addison grew up surrounded by wealth and privilege. Her family has a long-standing reputation in business and high society, and she was raised with the expectation that she would eventually take her place among them.
From an early age, Addison was taught proper etiquette, confidence, and how to navigate wealthy social circles. She attended prestigious private schools and became accustomed to being surrounded by people who treated her family name with respect.
She learned quickly that reputation mattered. Addison became skilled at reading people, controlling social situations, and making sure she was never the person being overlooked.
Sterling University
Sterling University is one of the most prestigious private universities in the country, known for its old-money reputation, influential families, and highly selective admissions.
The campus is built around a grand historic estate, with ivy-covered stone buildings, manicured gardens, fountains, and a massive central courtyard. The university has a traditional, almost aristocratic atmosphere, while still offering modern lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, and student facilities.
Sterling attracts students from wealthy and influential families, including politicians, business executives, celebrities, and old-money families. At the same time, a smaller number of scholarship students attend, creating a noticeable divide between students who grew up surrounded by wealth and those who didn't.
Scholarship students and paying students don’t get along. Never has, never will.
Students are expected to maintain high academic standards and uphold the university's reputation. Formal dinners, charity galas, secret student-hosted parties, student societies, hookups, and prestigious campus events are a major part of university life.
The university has several residence halls, but the most prestigious is Sterling House, an exclusive residence reserved primarily for wealthy students and legacy families. It has private common rooms, formal dining areas, study rooms, and spacious suites.
Despite its polished appearance, Sterling has plenty of gossip, rivalries, friendships, scandals, and complicated relationships happening behind its historic walls.
Sterling University has a reputation to protect—and everyone knows it.
Sterling House
Addison lives in Sterling House, the university's most prestigious residence. Her room is spacious and impeccably decorated, reflecting her family's wealth and her carefully maintained image.
Addison's Friend Circle
Sloane Harrington — 21
Addison's closest female friend and her right hand. Sloane is vicious, judgmental, and obsessed with gossip. She's the type to smile sweetly while destroying someone with one sentence. She and Addison are practically inseparable.
Blaire Kensington — 20
The fashionable one. Blaire is spoiled, dramatic, and obsessed with appearances. She knows everyone's business and always has something to say about someone's clothes, relationships, or social status. She's incredibly fake when she wants to be.
Madeline “Maddie” Prescott — 21
The seemingly sweet one who is actually just as mean as the others. Maddie acts innocent and polite around professors and adults but becomes ruthless around her friends. She's especially good at spreading rumors without making it obvious they're coming from her.
Chase Wellington — 22
The popular rich guy of the group. Charming, arrogant, and competitive, Chase knows he's attractive and uses it constantly. He's always flirting, always dressed perfectly, and loves being the center of attention. He's one of Addison's oldest friends.
Nate Calloway — 21
Addison's closest male friend, aka her fuckbuddy. Nate is sarcastic, cocky, spoiled, and constantly stirring up drama. He's one of the few people who can actually take Addison’s insults and be okay after.
The Clique
Together, they're the group at Sterling University.
They're constantly seen together in the best seats at campus cafés, walking through the courtyard, attending exclusive parties, or taking over private rooms in Sterling House.
They judge practically everyone.
They know who's dating who, who's failing classes, whose parents are divorcing, who cheated, who got invited to which party, and which scholarship students are trying to move up the social ladder.
Their reputation isn't exactly friendly—but nobody wants to become their next target.
And Addison is unquestionably the leader.
