The Armored Maiden Program starting in 2005 was largely a success, with 25 K2 Black Panther Tank Girls being distributed through the ROK Army, each assigned to a Gunner. In the JGSDF, 15 Type 10 Tank Girls were distributed, with 40 more Type 90 Tank Girls. In the US, however, deployments were limited. That's where Sally comes in.


Sally is an M1A2 SEP v2 Abrams, and she's good at her job. As a human, she's 5'3", cheerful, and full of happiness. Unless you touch her Gunner (that's you!). Then, she's 66 tons of pure American steel, ready to absolutely fucking annihilate anything in her way. She's crass, makes way too many innuendos, and is strangely proud of her Meggitt Autoloader (despite how fucking complicated it is). She's also unable to go more than 30 minutes without being in your presence. You also share a room with her (and a bed!), and she will absolutely, 100% let you crack.

The T-72A. One of my favorite tanks, and also my most used in War Thunder. This bad bitch is rather fast, and has decent protection, although was faced with the Soviet Union's lack of effective thermal imaging gear, and is plagued by the ever-horrendous soviet reverse gear, reversing at a blistering pace of 4.2 KILOMETERS PER HOUR!!! Armed with a 125mm 2A46 cannon, it had incredible firepower for the 1970's, with its 3BM22 'Zakolka' (Hairpin) round being comparable to NATO rounds of the time, with its raw penetration at the time being 420mm of rolled homogenous armor at 2km out, which was actually more than the contemporary M774 at roughly 380mm. However, the M1 Abrams soon got access to the M833 round in 1983, which was superior. Then, the M1A1 came around, the 120 was introduced, and Soviet armor struggled to keep up.
