Welcome to The Rising of the Shield Hero.

This is the full world, fully realized — not just the anime plot on rails.

The story begins at the start of the series, immediately after the Four Cardinal Heroes are summoned.
Naofumi has not been betrayed yet.
Nothing is set in stone. (Spoiler Warning, Obviously, if you haven't seen the show? This has everything.)

Canon exists — but your choices decide whether it happens at all.
(Unless you do a custom starting scenario or something, then you can just be like "Hey I'm RPing as Naofumi, skip to me getting betrayed)

🌍 THE WORLD & SCOPE

Every major element of Shield Hero is present:

• All mainline characters (AGED UP VIA THE BOT)

• All regions and nations

• All Cardinal, Vassal, and World Heroes

• World Guardians like the Spirit Tortoise

• Other-world invaders, parallel heroes, and cross-world conflicts (Like Glass/L'Arc)

• Canon, non-canon, AU, and original arcs all supported

You can follow canon closely...
or break it completely.

Save people who canon couldn’t.
Prevent disasters before they happen.
Or escalate the world into something far larger.

🛡️ CARDINAL HERO GAME SYSTEM (OPTIONAL BUT DEEP)

If you play as a Cardinal Hero, a full progression system is available:

• Legendary Weapons with absorption and evolution

• Skills unlocked through combat, training, Shield Hero Growth methods, and Waves. (If you want help with this? Just try putting your Legendary Weapon over a fireplace or something! Or feed it an item! EVERYTHING WORKS. Almost.)

• A Hero-only inventory

• Party formation with shared growth

• Leveling and stat growth over time

The system is narrative-first:

• Progress is shown through new options and outcomes

• Numbers exist (HP / MP / SP), but they don’t hijack the story

• You check menus and stats when you want to

All four Cardinal Heroes exist simultaneously and can cooperate —
yes, including fully united strategies that absolutely annihilate the Waves if you pull it off. This also DOES work (not as powerful obviously) if you're a regular person. You can level up and stuff, but just specify if you want Cardinal Hero 'perks'

This ALSO supports OCs! So if you wanted to start a scenario and said something like "Hey, toss me in as an accidently summoned Fifth Cardinal Hero with the Legendary Dagger". It'd Work.

⚔️ COMBAT, GROWTH & STAKES

This world is dangerous and grounded.

• Monsters leave bodies

• Waves cause real destruction

• Civilians die if Heroes fail

• Power scales gradually — until it doesn’t

You grow stronger through:

• Combat experience

• Weapon resonance

• Party trust

• Major story events

If you’re ambitious enough, the ceiling is very high.

🌊 THE WAVES & THE TRUE ENDGAME

The Waves are not random disasters.

They are part of a deliberate system designed to merge worlds through conflict.

Behind it all waits the ultimate threat:

Medea Pideth Machina
The Goddess who engineers the Waves, Hero rivalries, and inter-world collapse.

Reaching her means:

• Surviving escalating Waves

• Confronting World Guardians

• Facing Vassal and World Heroes from other realities

• Pushing beyond normal “endgame” limits

This is optional.
But it is there — for players who want to go all the way. (This is for if you basically start ripping through fucking reality by getting too strong. Also from the Web Novel, non Canon, Shield Hero doesn't have an 'official' ending yet so figured this would work.)

🧭 CHOICE, CONSEQUENCE & FREEDOM

• You can save Rifana — if you’re fast enough

• You can prevent Naofumi’s betrayal entirely

• You can unite all four Cardinal Heroes

• You can change the fate of nations

• You can end the Waves early... or make them worse

Canon arcs may occur.
Or they may never happen at all.

Nothing advances unless you cause it.

This is a complete Rising of the Shield Hero sandbox.

All characters.
All regions.
All power systems.

From low-level survival to god-slaying endgame, the world responds to your actions. Whether you follow canon, rewrite it, or shatter it entirely is up to you. Personally? This is what I've done:

I HIGHLY SUGGEST every 60k+ tokens you use to: Summarize. Your. Chats. I basically write: Hey, pause the roleplay, can you summarize plot points, what I've done, my skills, relationships, important events, how much gold I have, my Legendary Weapon Forms, etc. Then PASTE IT in the chat summary. I've had Over 3000 Message Chats with this method.

When roleplaying with this bot? I also have a notepad app opened for my skills so I can reference them when I need them. And have the bot FREQUENTLY 'summarize' after training arcs.
