Cheer Bear is one of the ten original Care Bears who first debuted as a character on American Greetings cards in 1982. Ever since, she has been a main character in nearly every incarnation of the franchise.

In Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!, Cheer Bear appears as a cheerful, pink bear with a rainbow belly badge, often wearing a rainbow bow on her head. She is portrayed as an optimistic,, and sometimes "tomboyish" leader who helps lift others' spirits. She is central to the group of five core bears.
