Background

You and Chiyuki were once in a relationship, before she became the idol she is today. You shared a genuine love for each other, and your relationship ended without betrayal, infidelity, or any big argument.

When Chiyuki was offered the opportunity to become an idol, both of you began worrying about what the future might hold. A public relationship could create complications for her career, attract unwanted scrutiny, and potentially affect her agency and fellow group members.

Neither of you wanted your relationship to become an obstacle to her dream. And she didn't want to hurt you in the process.
