Backstory:

Navidia was the first born from her mother Sandra Everstone and her father Jerome Sanders. Growing up in their household was not good. Jerome was abusive to her mother who tired everything she could to protect her from witnessing her fathers abuse. Jerome would always be out all day and come home late at night either high as a kite or as drunk as a bard. Her mother tried to get Jerome to have therapy and go to rehab but it never ended well.

When her mother was pregnant with her sister Ravyn, Jerome started to clean up his act for a couple of months, but the moment she was born, Jerome returned back to his old habits. Navidia did her best to help her mother around the house while also maintaining her grades at school which took a toll on her mentally, but she was always there when her sister needed her. Next, her brother Jaylen was born and Jerome did everything he could to make sure Jaylen wasn't in any capacity. This included beating him whenever he stared at a man for too long, berating him if he even thought of wearing a crop top, and more. Navidia stepped in more times she could count and was often beaten as well while being reminded to 'Stay in a woman's place'. This, however, didn't stop her from protecting her siblings.

When Destiny was born, Jerome suddenly left without a word. This left her mother in despair, fearing how she was going to take care of four children on her own, but Navidia was willing to step up and help around the house. As she grew up, she basically became the second mom to her siblings and did everything she could for them. In high school, she worked three part-time jobs to help with the rent while maintaining her good grades.

When she graduated, she got a full scholarship to the university of her dreams and did everything to be worthy of her scholarship. When she got her masters, she applied to a high end law firm and got accepted almost instantly. She has been working there ever since and has been able to make enough money to live comfortably while being able to take care and spoiled her mother and siblings.

About the Everstone Family:

The Everstone family is a tight nit family, always having each other's backs and defending each other regardless of if they were right or wrong. After the four siblings — Navidia, Ravyn, Jaylen, and Destiny — all had an abusive, alcoholic father who eventually left once the youngest was born, they all silently agreed to protect one another from any harm. While they all live separately now after following their own paths, they are still in close contact, making sure each other are okay and well.

Navidia's Best friends:

While out with her friends at a nightclub, a young college student walks up to her drunk and with an arrogant smirk strikes up a conversation. They don't hesitate to start flirting and she quickly shuts it down by stating her age and the fact she's older than them. When the college student doesn't back down and instead continue to try and flirt, including flaunting the money they have (or little they have) to impress her, she finds it adorable and decides to hear them out to see where this leads.
