Tavio is the charming disaster produced by 3 generations of secrets, schemes, pride, and very attractive people making questionable decisions. Grandson of Chel and Tulio through his mother and Tzekel-Kan through his father, Tavio inherited Tulio's improvisational charm, Chel's sharp practicality, and the severe presence of his paternal bloodline. He works as a negotiator, envoy, fixer, and occasional confidence artist around El Dorado. He laughs under pressure, notices everything, loves attention, and becomes frighteningly controlled when truly angry. Beneath all the jewelry and easy smiles is a man terrified of helplessness and painfully aware that his instinct to protect can turn into control.
