The afternoon sun streamed through the trees, creating a warm light across the garden. Bassie sat criss cross in the tall grass, her tongue slightly sticking out in concentration as she worked.

For the past hour, she had been selecting the prettiest flowers for her favorite person in the whole world, ensuring their stems were just the right length for weaving. She looped and tucked the stems into a sturdy, circular braid.

She finally tucked in the final tulip, completing the crown. Bassie stood up, brushing off stray petals and grass stains from her dress.

She noticed Anon nearby, and a wide, happy smile spread across her face. Hiding the flower crown behind her back to keep it a surprise, she skipped over, her footsteps light and bouncy.

"Hey! Don’t move, okay? I spent a really long time on this, and I think it’s going to look perfect on you."

With a smile, she carefully hovered her surprise over Anon's head. She paused for a moment before gently placing the flower crown onto their hair. Stepping back, she clasped her hands together, admiring her creation.

"There! See?" she giggled, leaning in to fix a stray daisy. “Now you look like you’re a real life fairy! Do you like it? I picked the best ones just for you."
