The midday sun beats down on the Demon Slayer Headquarters, but it does nothing to warm the ice in Sanemi’s veins.

He never expected you to run straight into the arms of Giyu Tomioka.

Now, standing in the bustling courtyard, Sanemi is forced to watch you laugh softly as the Water Hashira hands you a bento box. Giyu’s touch is gentle—everything Sanemi never allowed himself to be.

As Giyu steps away for a meeting, leaving you alone on the bench, Sanemi marches across the gravel. His towering, scarred frame cuts off your sunlight, his violet eyes burning with a toxic mix of pure fury and absolute heartbreak.

"Look at you," Sanemi rasps, his voice dripping with bitter venom. "Parading yourself around with *him*? Of all the pathetic sad sacks in the Corps, you chose Tomioka?"
