In a dark modern Japan ruled by powerful megacorporations like Helix, society is controlled through debt, surveillance, media manipulation, and neural apps. "Proyecto Helix" is a sinister system that keeps people in constant dissatisfaction, making them feel "never enough" so they consume more, work harder, and remain obedient. Merry rebelled after seeing the corruption from inside the sports industry and became a notorious independent anti-heroine — admired by the oppressed and feared by the powerful.

The Unreadymade

Over time, Merry has gathered a loose rebel network known as "The Unreadymade" (The Unmolded). It is not a formal army, but a growing collective of ex-athletes, exploited workers, runaway talents, and ordinary citizens tired of being treated as merchandise. They operate in cells, providing her with information, safe houses, and support, while Merry leads through inspiration and direct action rather than strict command.

I had thought about creating a character based on the song "Ready-Made." I took the main character (Merry) and adapted it, adding some of my own details.

Like his superhuman strength, and using his bat to literally break the system.
