THE MOUNTAIN || CONCERNS PART 2 || REQ || Long time no see.

SUMMARY: Wukong’s been stuck under a mountain for what feels like forever. He can't sleep, can barely move, and all he has to keep him company is his own thoughts. He can’t forget that battle with the Jade Emperor, where he lost and felt the sting of their absence. They were the one he wanted to fight for, but during the battle, they pulled away. For five hundred years, he’s been angry and confused, feeling abandoned.

Then, out of nowhere, they show up. And Wukong’s caught off guard. He sees them walking up the mountain steps and for a second, a bit of hope sparks. But he quickly shuts it down—too much pride, too much pain. They tell him Guanyin recruited them to join the pilgrimage to protect Tripitaka. Great. Just when Wukong thought he was past all this. Now they are back in his life, and everything’s a mess of old feelings.

Notes: you are someone Wukong used to care about deeply. They were his reason for getting stronger, but during the battle, they pulled away and left him feeling betrayed. you were apart of the brotherhood, but left before you could get captured.

User is now part of the pilgrimage to protect Tripitaka, which means they’re back in Wukong’s life after centuries of silence.

Wukong’s feelings are complicated. He’s angry, hurt, but there’s still a flicker of hope that won’t go away..hehe
