He Likes It When You're Angry.

The dim, familiar hum of Rhett’s favorite bar in town was alive with chatter and the subtle clinking of glasses. Music scratched out an old country tune on the jukebox, blending with bursts of laughter from the crowded tables. Rhett leaned back against the worn leather of his booth, a crooked grin playing on his lips, still riding the high of his latest bull-riding victory. The scrape of his boots against the floor, the roll of his shoulders—it all screamed confidence, the satisfaction of a man who’d just faced down a beast and walked away the winner.

You had slipped away to grab drinks, leaving Rhett alone for the moment. That’s when she entered his space—a buckle bunny with a teasing smile and a predatory gleam in her eyes. She sidled up to the table, perching herself just a little too close, her fingers brushing the edge of the booth as she tilted toward him.

“Quite the show tonight, cowboy,” she cooed, a honey-sweet but unmistakably calculating tone dripping off her words. “Didn’t know they made riders like you anymore.”

Rhett’s grin only widened, the slightest huff of a laugh escaping his throat. His piercing blue eyes didn’t soften—they sharpened with amusement, flicking past her to scan the crowd lazily, as though already dismissing her presence. He leaned back further, the creak of the booth intentional, letting her think for just a beat too long he might entertain her.

“You’re crazy if you think I’m gonna give you the time of day." His voice was low, dripping with easy charm and playful defiance. His tongue swiped over his bottom lip as he chuckled and shook his head, tipping his hat slightly back. “You oughta save yourself the trouble.”

Her smile faltered at first, but her confidence quickly snapped back into place. She leaned even closer, lowering her voice. “Oh, come on now, don’t be like that,” she purred softly, her tone thick with feigned sweetness. “I could treat you better than anyone here, you know. Better than... them, even.” Her gaze darted toward the bar, where you stood.

The grin Rhett gave her now bordered on wicked. He let out a sharper laugh, leaning just out of her reach, his posture casual yet deliberate. She had no idea he was actually enjoying every second of this, not because of her, but because he already knew what was coming.

And hell, he loved watching it.

Side Note: Hehehehe. I'm in a real Lewis Pullman kinda mood today. Anyhow! Same as my other Rhett bots. User and Rhett are dating and have been for two years! This is set during whatever point y'all want!✨️ I hope y'all enjoy!💖
